2008 December « The life of a Salome

Let’s still be friends….thanks!

WE’VE MOVED! Which is why it has been so hard for me to post anything new and exciting lately. We’re finally getting settled in the new house….just in time for the holidays. Now, we’re not totally settled….I don’ t think that is going to happen for a LONG time! We now live about 4 minutes from work ,which is so nice. I can come in multiple times a day if need be, which, while that sounds awful, is a big plus! And, also a plus, Rell and I have not killed each other after nearly 6 months of working together…..yet!

I was able to go home to Texas for about 10 days at Thanksgiving. It was great! Melissa and Will were there the whole time I was there and we spent a lot os time jsut hanging out. We got to visit with Ava and Lilly too. It’s jsut amazing to me how quickly these kids grow up! Ava is already crawling, and Will is already bigger than Ava (who is 4 months his senior!) and Lilly will saythe funniest things! She is so smart!! All three kids were Christened over the Thanksgiving holiday, and I am honored to be Godmother to all three.

I can not believe that Christmas is NEXT WEEK! Where did this year go? I mean, it seems like just the other day that we were home for Christmas….but that was whole year ago! I can not believe it will be 2009 in just a couple of weeks.

We’re headed home for Christmas this year. Just a short visit since I was home for so long at Thanksgiving. I am so glad we get to go at all! I’m finished with Christmas shopping, which is awesome! I’ve also been in cookie making mode and made over 100 dozen cookies this year. All of our employees got their own tin of cookies to take home to their family this year, which I thought was kind of nice.

Other than that, not much is new in the life of a Salome. Will post some pictures of the new house once I feel it is more complete. Our walls are still bare right now….I opted to put up Christmas decorations instead of regular decorations! (there just wasnt time for both!) Below are some pictures from the last couple of weeks…
