So nothing of huge importance to post….I’ve just been feeling guilty lately because I have been ignoring my blog. our lives have been a bit crazy as of late. Work, while hugely satisfying, is taking its toll on me…apparently my accounting knowledge and general business sense only gets my so far…I’ve (willingly, and by my own choice) been thrown into the industry of which I have virtually no knowledge. And trying to figure out the Little idiosyncrasies of the steel industry is probably going to drive me MAD! Oh inventory, you are my nightmare. And of course, we run a far too simplistic software for our needs, but we make it work, and it has to work, because seriously, do you know how expensive specialized software is?????
We’ve gotten an offer on our house….for those of you that are counting, this is offer #2. We’re not getting excited about this one…..not yet. Although it has made it further than the last offer. Today was the inspection on our house. For being a 60 year old home, I would say it went well. however, the true results remain to be seen. We must see how much of a 60 year old home our buyer can really tolerate. Fingers crossed…..hopes are not up!
That being said, we did put an offer in on another house, contingent upon the sale of ours……and it is fabulous. That is all I can say for now because I fear jinxing everything.
No fun pictures to post because I have left my camera at work for the past few weeks…..at some point in time it is my intention to create yavapaisteel.com. I’ll probably get around to that in 2010. I do have a couple pictures from my phone from our TX OU weekend…..we enjoyed the game here at home. It was awesome. I was even jumping up and down on the couch at one point…..and yes, we did dress our dog in one of my shirts because she needed a little UT spirit.
